This landscape was designed around an existing patio and hot tub.  The homeowner wanted a mix of evergreen and perennial plantings as well as fresh herbs.  The design gives spring and summer color and ensures something is just about to flower year round.  The lower patio and fire pit were added later as a place for their teenagers to relax with their friends.
